Whatever happened to creativity

Most times we live our lives trying to imitate people who dont even think about us for a second not to talk of if we exist, all because we want validation and acceptance from the public. We live our lives trying to meet peoples expectation which on the long run deprives us from living our lives the way we want to live it. We go the extra mile of imitating everything and when I say everything, from speech,to mannerisms, hairstyles, dress code, etc

There is nothing wrong in having a mentor, most especially if we pick the right attitude from the person but it becomes absurd when we decide to relive the person's life by picking up everything, including bad habits

I did a little survey of what it feels like trying to imitate someone, and I was not surprised to discover that 99.9% of the people I interviewed are living a fake life, imitating one person or the other ,and when I asked why,I could not get a logical answer
What happened to originality? where did being unique disappear to ?
Most people seem to be living a fake life and as such have lost creativity. Allowing others to set the pace and we follow hook line sinker, accepting anything that is en vogue, mundane, sometimes vain and absurd.

The brain was not created to be inactive.
When we imitate people ,we render the brain to be more and more inactive ,and only functional when something new comes from the person we imitate. On a daily basis,we look at the covers of magazines, browse the website and watch the TV,for the latest
Imitation has killed the spirit of creativity.
If we all decide to be creative,we can find solutions to the many problems of our lives and that of the world.
